Lux Symbolica maintains an extensive physical collection of human hair and is building from it a structured reference organized by measurable physical properties rather than claimed origin. The reference is early-stage and continues to grow. Its organizing logic is the LSHI® framework, a measurement-based approach to describing hair as a physical material.

Laboratory Supply

We currently supply cosmetic-science laboratories with selected hair for product testing, at their request. Material is provided to specification, for the laboratory's own research purposes.
